The only sustainable strategy for your team to successfully manage change is to provide answers.
Change demands a substantial effort from employees. They have to adopt new ways of working, which means they’ll have to break with their habits. And breaking with habits is rarely easy.
While the change is implemented, employees always have lots of questions as to how things should be done now and why. They’re more likely to accept the change and adopt new habits if they get answers to their questions.
So, to prevent and counteract negative trends during change management, it’s important to be present, listen, and provide answers.
